Jenna came to Afrodita with dark blonde hair and asked for a total recoloring. She wanted to go black and change her image.
So Yoshiko colored with dark brown color to give a sharper appearance, afterwards she gave her a trim and created some layers and texture for depth and volume.
She got what she asked for. 🙂 The dark hair gives her a stronger and fiercer look, while her glasses gives it a cute finish.
Also, blending in with japanese crowds is a lot easier now. ;P
First time customer Karla asked for a new look for her dry, color fading hair. She wanted it to get a proper shape again, but still keep the length of her hair.
Lots of change was done by Yoshiko to give Karla the new hair she wanted. She restored the color with dark cool brown for base color, put few pieces of highlight on top. Then she did ‘Japanese thermal straightening’ using Miconos solution to preserve moisture, provide naturally straight, shiny and fluid looking hair. Finally, Yoshiko did a hair cut, to give it a overall better shape while keeping the length.
What Karla ended up with after this procedure, was nice tidy, glossy hair. It has become quite sophisticated while still easy to maintain. The best from two worlds.

When Karla came again to Afrodita for the second time, her color had begun fading a lot from last time. So that definitely needed attention, but she wanted to go a bit darker than she normally would. But not just a boring dark.
Lets see what Yoshiko did for her. 😉
Yoshiko colored her hair darker, with a touch of several lighter ends, some darker, some lighter. Then she gave her a good layered cut with the intention of creating a wavy look.
The Result is quite phenomenal. The new dark and light colors create wonderful multidimentional ends, which emphasizes the beautiful texture of her wavy hair.
Regular customer Shellys blonde hair was already starting to fade when she came to Afrodita. She wanted to have it recolored and the hair style freshened up.

Yoshiko did a touch up and created highlights for her with 3 different colors, marigold, honey and a goldish orange tone. Colors both darker and lighter than her current, resulted in giving her a good looking balance.

The overall look got tighter and the color and bangs really fit her well now. There’s nothing like getting your hairstyle polished once in a while.
Besides going to the Onsen, thats pretty nice aswell. 😉

We got a visit from our regular Kristi together with her friend Amanda. They’d decided to get their hairr colored and cut, a long procedure, so coming together as friends is an awesome idea guys!
Kristi’s hair had faded out and become a bit blonde.
Yoshiko gave her layered highlights and lowlights with three different colors, giving her hair on overall lighter and shinier tone, while retaining a fair amount of depth. No reason to go too dark, just cause its autumn people! Even just cutting the tips will make hair look a lot livelier as these pictures can attest to.The verdict?Fresh and pretty.
Very happy with both their results, they ofcourse started to get hungry after hours of sitting around and gossipping ;P
We heard they had a big thanksgiving meal afterwards, and no girls, you can’t eat ‘too much’ on thanks giving. That day is eat what you want day! And so is christmas.. and birthdays.. and sundays? haha

Kristi’s roots had been fighting back alot since last time, the contrast had become quite strong already. This time Kristi wanted to go lighter than before, but warmer and not the colder platinum she used before.

Not only did Yoshiko give it a cut at the ends to give it a healthier and more vibrant look, she also used a tooner to reduce the contrast somewhat.
We like this result alot. Her long blond hair is very beautiful, and her cheeky smile reveals her satisfaction with the result aswell. ;P

Embrace yourselves for good results again. Kristi basicly wanted to patch it all up a bit, color and cut.
Yoshiko was happy to work on this fantastic hair again. She gave it some highlights and toner. Aswell as an interesting cut, as you’ll see soon.
We especially like the small indication of a sidesweep, which adds to a bit of complexity and stylishness to her hair.

Kristi and her friend Amanda were in for another haircut and coloring.
She chose her high and lowlights to be with a bit more contrast than usual, which meant thicker looking strands of color. As always, looks amazing on her. ;D
First time customer Birn has straight blonde hair. A darker color started to come out at the roots, so she wanted her hair retouched.
So Yoshiko took the fight up with the darker hair, that was over so slowly reclaiming her head, and colored it blonde so that it finally fit with the rest again. Then the she got a brief cut and the hair straightened.
The change done to Birn’s hair wasn’t actually that big, but small changes can still have an astounding effect on the overall view, as can be seen well in Birn’s case here.
The hair even looks more lively and energetic, as if it were alive ;p. Anyway, it looks awesome.
