Claudias daring color dipping.

The top area of Claudias head had regrown a darker ash brown color, while the rest of the previously colored hair remained brigther. Normally you would either apply color to the roots or do a recoloring of it all. But Claudia wanted to something a little more stylish and daring.

Yoshiko colored more of her hair in her natural color, but made it lighter underneath to create some interesting  and playful contrast. Then the tips of her long hair were dipped in color as Claudia wanted.

In the End her haircolor doesn’t like it just lost grew back out partially, but with the added contrast and natural color it feels alot more stylish and fresh. And she can play with her lighter ends now and do all sorts of daring stuff to it. ;P

 

Cecile gets alot of volume reduced, and receives delightful highlights.

Cecile is a regular at Afrodita. Her hair had become messy and curly, again. So she needed to get ‘tidied up’. Which is something she’s a bit concerned about, because japanese salons have problems to manage that kind of hair. Luckily Yoshiko can take care of it! 😉
She also decided to get highlights done with natural medium ash as base color.

Then Yoshiko cut back at the wild growth hair, and made it less voluminous. But she kept the nice waves allready present, we didn’t wanna straighten it away.
After the ash base color, high and lowlights were added to spice it all up, and then finished with a toner.

The result is good looking smoother hair and the highlights add the youthfull energy. Suits her very well. At least someone can manage her hair ;D

 

Lidia wants to grow longer hair.

So Lidia actually wanted to grow longer hair when she came to Afrodita, well we can’t use magic and make that happen over night, but we can prepare her short hair style for a longer one.
She also wanted a light color change, a bit ligther.

So Yoshiko mostly cut the hair at the bottom, without putting in too many layers, which would disrupt the look of longer hair later on.
Bangs were also added.

A warmer base color was also chosen for good look through the whole length of the hair.

A very cute bob style hair cut for Lidia. And best of all, it will look good long as well. It just needs to grow with light maintenance. The bang really frame her face nicely.

Lauren has a small trim and layers created.

Lauren just wanted a little trim and make her cut look bitter, since it had gone a bit out of shape as you may be able to see.

Yoshiko was glad to apply her quick scissors and trim the ends off. Followed by layering the hair, giving it a better form.

The ends really look good on her now.  Lauren really has wonderful smooth hair, fantastic ;P

Melyssa’s daughter got a cute, asymmetrical bob

Melyssa’s daughter is among the cutest customers we’ve had. She came in with her long wavy hair. And her mother asked for a change to her hair that looked good, aswell as being more convenient for play and maintaining.

With children, hair cut is the only styling method that is recommended. Asymmetrical bob was chosen to give this little girl a sprightly look.

Her blonde hair was cut shorter inher  back, longer in sides, and one side is longer than the other. The parting also was changed to show her face better.

The little customer now looks even cuter :D, both her and her mother like this style very much. This short hair is also appropriate for children since it is easy to keep tidy and clean, and you dont have to do the brushing all the time, that children don’t always feel like doing.
